More Olde Towne

Oh hey look, two posts in two consecutive days!  These are some leftover photos from one of our walks around the neighborhood that I just got around to editing.

David and I used to go come to this coffee shop every morning that we had the day off together.  Coffee, pastries, and egg sandwiches mixed with reading, writing, or a game of Scrabble.  Often times we would leave here and ride the ferry over to downtown Norfolk.  I miss those days.

We have lived in this neighborhood for almost four and a half years and have never tried this restaurant, although I have always wanted to.  I heard from someone that my high school Latin teacher ended up buying it a while ago.  Hopefully we will make a stop here before we move.

This is a restaurant and bar called The Bier Garden.  Obviously German inspired, they sell a huge assortment of amazing beers and wines from all around the world, specifically European countries (their drink menu is larger than their food menu!).  David and I used to go here every Sunday night with our friend Jeff (obviously this was before I got pregnant and whatnot) and pretty much stay until the place closed.  We would mainly drink White Elephants (a beer from Denmark) and have a lot of fun.

And that is all for now!
